Fire Marshal Level 2 Course
Our Level 2 Fire Marshal Course provides essential training for individuals responsible for fire safety in the workplace.
Every workplace is legally required to have trained Fire Marshals in place. Our Level 2 Fire Marshal course delivers the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills your designated staff need to fulfil that role effectively, all within a single, structured training day.
Delivered by an experienced instructor at our training centre in North Wales, the course is suitable for anyone taking on fire marshal responsibilities for the first time, or for those refreshing existing knowledge to stay compliant with current legislation.
What you will learn

The principles of fire and how it spreads
Legal responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
The role and duties of a designated Fire Marshal
Fire risk awareness and prevention in the workplace
Emergency evacuation procedures and assembly point management
Types of fire extinguisher, their correct use, and limitations
Practical extinguisher training
Completing fire safety records and documentation

Your qualification
On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive a nationally recognised Level 2 Award in Fire Marshal duties. This certificate demonstrates compliance with UK workplace fire safety legislation and is accepted by employers, insurers, and regulatory bodies across all sectors.
Certificates are typically valid for 3 years, after which a refresher course is recommended to maintain currency.
